Hon'ble President of Spain has congratulated Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh on the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relation, which started its journey on 12 May 1972 soon after the independence of Bangladesh. In his message of enduring fraternity, Hon'ble President Pedro Sánchez lauded Bangladesh's spectacular socioeconomic achievements made under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and appreciated Bangladesh's abiding commitment to multilateralism and global peace.  Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina too addressed a greetings message to her Spanish counterpart, as the two nations are currently celebrating the golden jubilee of their relations. The lwo leaders expressed the conviction that bilateral cooperation in the days ahead would widen and deepen at a pace faster than ever.
